Law in the Sunnah fasting 6 days of Shawwal From Abu Ayyub radi anhu:

"The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:' Anyone who fasts Ramadan and continue with 6 days in Shawwal, then that's fast life. '" [Reported by Muslim, 1984, Ahmad 5/417, Abu Dawud 2433, At-Tirmidhi 1164]

Law Shawwal Fasting:

The law is the Sunnah: "This is a hadeeth which indicates that fasting six days in Shawwal is sunnah. Ash-Shafi'i, Ahmad and many leading scholars to follow. It is not correct to reject this hadith with the reasons set out some of the scholars in this fast memakruhkan, such as worry about people who do not know think this part of Ramadan, or worried people would consider this mandatory, or because he had not heard that the Salaf used to fast in Shawwal, since all these are estimates, which could not be used to reject the authentic Sunnah. If something is known, it is a proof for those who do not know. "

Matters related to it are:

1. Not be carried out sequentially:

"These days (fasting of Shawwal-) should not be done immediately after Ramadan. It may do it one day or more after the 'Id, and they should run consecutively or separately during the month of Shawwal, whatever is easier for someone. ... And this (legal-) is not mandatory, but the Sunnah. "

Imam An-Nawawi rahimahullah said:

"Sahaba-Companions we say is mustahab to fast six days of Shawwal. From this hadeeth they said: Sunnah mustahabah done in sequence at the beginning of Shawwal, but if someone separates or delay their implementation until the end of Shawwal, it is also possible, since he is still in the general meaning of the hadith. We do not disagree on this issue, and this is also the opinion of Ahmad and Abu Dawud. "[Al-Majmu 'Sharh al-Muhadzdzab]

2. It should not be done if it is still lagging behind in Ramadan:

"If someone left a few days of Ramadan, he must fast first, and only then may proceed by fasting six days of Shawwal, because he can not continue fasting Ramadan by fasting six days of Shawwal, unless he has perfected his first Ramadan."

Answer: Basic fasting six days of Shawwal is the following hadith

Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baaz was asked: A woman has been accustomed to fast six days in Shawwal every year, in a year she had given birth at the beginning of childbirth because of Ramadan and have not got the sanctity of nifasnya it except after the end of Ramadan, after obtaining his holiness make up Ramadan fasting. Is fasting required for him to make up the six days of Shawwal after Ramadan fasting make up the fasts of Shawwal although it is not done in the month of Shawwal. Or Shawwal fasts should not make up diqadha except fasting Ramadaan and fasting six days of Shawwal whether continuous or not required?

Answer:

Fasting six days in Shawwal, circumcision is not required by law and the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
"Meaning: Whoever fasts in Ramadan and then followed by fasting six days in Shawwal is like fasting the fast of the year" [Issued by Imam Muslim in the book Shahihnya]

This hadith shows that fasting six days in a row it should be done or not consecutive, because the expression is absolute hadith, but hasten fasting six days it is more important based on the word of Allaah (which means): ".. And I hasten to you. Yes Rabbku, so that you pleasure (to me) "[Taha: 84]

Also on the terms of the arguments of the Book and the Sunnah which indicates kutamaan Haste and compete in doing good. This hadeeth indicates that the obligation of fasting Ramadan tune which is then coupled with the obligatory fasting fasting six days in Shawwal which is the sunnah fasting to get the reward of fasting a year. In another hadith mentioned (which means): "Fasting Ramadan with fasting ten months and six days in the month of Shawwal is equal to two months.

Which means that the goodness got ten goodness, then this hadeeth Whoever fasts Ramadan imperfect due to illness, or due to travel or because of menstruation, childbirth or because of the Ramadan fast should he perfected it by giving priority qadhanya of the voluntary fast, including fasting six fasting days of Shawwal or other circumcision. If you have perfected making up those fasting Ramadan, the new fasting is prescribed for six days of Shawwal in order to get a reward or favor in question. Thus making up those fasts which he did not bersetatus a voluntary fast of Shawwal.

Is her husband has the right to forbid fasting of Shawwal:

Sheikh Abdullah bin Jibrin asked: Am I right to ban my wife if she wanted to perform circumcision as fasting fasting six days of Shawwal? And if my actions were sinful.

Answer:

There are texts which forbid a woman to fast when her husband's circumcision was present at his side (not flier / safar) except with the permission of her husband, this is not to block the biological needs. And if she was fasting without the permission of her husband then allowed her husband to cancel his wife's fasting if suaminyta want to interfere. If her husband does not require biological intent to his wife, it is makruh law for the husband to forbid his wife to fast if fasting does not harm her or discourage her in caring for or feeding their children, whether it be fasting the six days of Shawwal fasts or voluntary other.

Law sunnah fasting for married women:

Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan was asked: What is the law of fasting circumcision for women who have been married.

Answer:

It should not be for a woman to fast when her husband is present circumcision (not traveler) except with his permission, according to the hadeeth narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim from Abu Hurayrah anhu that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said (which means): "It is not lawful for a woman of her husband while fasting unruk with him except with his permission "in another narration:" except fasting Ramadan "
As if the husband permits him to fast circumcision, or her husband is not present (traveling), or she was not married, then allowed him to fast circumcision, especially on days that circumcision is recommended for fasting: Fasting Mondays and Thursdays, fasting three days in every month, fasting six days in Shawwal, the ten days of fasting in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and the day of 'Arafah, fasting' Ashura, and fasting the day before or after.
